  74LCX16240A low voltage cmos 16-bit buffer (3-state inv.) with 5v tolerant inputs and outputs preliminary data june 1997 order codes : 74LCX16240At n 5v tolerant inputs and outputs n high speed: t pd =4.9 ns (max.) at v cc =3.0v n power-down protection on inputs and outputs n symmetrical output impedance: |i oh |=i ol =24ma(min) n pci bus levels guaranteed at 24ma n balanced propagation delays: t plh @ t phl n operating voltage range: v cc (opr) = 2.7v to 3.6v (1.5v data retention) n pin and function compatible with 74 series 16240 n latch-up performance exceeds 500ma n esd performance: hbm >2000v; mm > 200v description the lcx16240a is a low voltage cmos 16-bit bus buffer fabricated with sub-micron silicon gate and double-layer metal wiring c 2 mos technology. it is ideal for low power and high speed 3.3v applications; it can be interfaced to 5v signal enviroment for both inputs and outputs. any ng control output governs four bus buffers. output enable input (ng) tied together gives full 16-bit operation. when ng is low, the outputs are on. when ng is high, the output are in high impedance state. this device is designed to be used with 3 state memory address drivers, etc. it has better speed performance at 3.3v than 5v lsttl family combined with the true cmos low power consumption. all inputs and outputs are equipped with protection circuits against static discharge, giving them 2kv esd immunity and transient excess voltage. t (tssop48 package) pin connection 1/8
